Sick Policy

We reserve the right to determine whether a child should remain in our care with an illness.

Children who have exhibited any symptoms of infectious illness within the proceeding 24-hour period are likely to be contagious and must remain at home. It is the parent's responsibility to make sure there are alternative care options for your child if needed.

If your child becomes ill during childcare...

  • The child's parent will be notified, or the emergency contact if we're unable to reach the parent.

  • The child is expected to be picked up immediately and may result in additional fees.

  • The child will be isolated from other children to avoid exposure until pick up.

Fevers

If your child is developing a fever of 100 degrees or more, they need to stay home.

The child can return once they have not had a fever for 24 hours without the help of any medicine.
